The campaign generated hundreds of media hits, including high-level publications such as The New York Times, with my quotes and image being reproduced in international publications.
After partnering with various organizers, the petition grew to 500,000 signatures, hand-delivered during a grassroots rally at NBC Studios in New Your City ahead of the program's airing.
